Code of Ethics

1. I do not perform readings for people under the age of 18.
2. I do not provide readings to others besides you. Meaning, if the reading is not about you, the Client, in any way, or, if in your question there is no intention to inspire action on your part in some way, then the reading goes against my personal ethics. Please formulate your question in a way that empowers you and focuses on your life only. For example, try “What can I do to help Marnie?” Not, “What is Marnie thinking?”
3. I do not perform cold readings. My goal with client readings is to make sure that you receive clarity and direction in your situation. I am also not a psychic, medium, or mind reader, where cold reading is a common technique used among them. Therefore, I require context about your situation. I prefer that clients, at the very least, provide a general idea of their situation. An area will be provided to add more details at time of booking, so choosing the category will give the bare minimum needed to create a customized spread if you choose not to provide further detail.
4. I do not perform readings based on accuracy because that is never guaranteed. Instead of trying to predict outcomes, I try to offer clarity, extra information or creative insights in the situation you have provided. Since I provide an experience oriented service, I do not give refunds (See “Refund Policy” below). In all my services, I provide as much details as possible for each offering so you can make an informed purchase decision, so please read each listing with care.
5. I do my best to deliver messages in every client reading, no matter the subject, with sympathy, integrity and grace. However, I will deliver the messages as they appear to me because honesty is my favorite policy and I will tell you exactly what I see, even if the message does not seem too positive.
6. I do not do the following in client readings:
   • contact the dead
   • choose lottery numbers
   • find lost items or people
   • diagnose illness
   • find out if you are pregnant
7. Client readings are 100% confidential. I will never voluntarily disclose the information you’ve provided to me for the use of your reading, our communications, or anything in relation to the reading. I will exercise my best efforts to maintain the strict confidence of what you’ve disclosed to me. Please continue to the “Privacy Policy” section of this page if you would like a more thorough understanding of how your information is used.
8. I reserve the right to refuse to perform a reading to anyone at any time. If you have already paid, I will issue you a refund.
9. If I sense your behavior is an addictive one, I reserve the right to refuse to read for you. I do not encourage addictions of any kind, in this case, to psychics, tarot readers, astrologers or the like. If I sense this is coming from you, I will refund you and will refuse to see you after a period of time has passed. Please seek the help of a professional if you feel like you have developed this kind of behavior.

Privacy Policy

General Use of Data

Sharing your data:

Under no circumstances is your data ever sold or rented to a third party.

Kismet Flame may share your data in the following circumstances:

• to service providers and affiliates (PayPal, Stripe, postal services) who assist in the delivery of products and services

• to third parties if Kismet Flame believe that disclosure is advisable or necessary to comply with the law, to enforce or apply terms and conditions, or to protect the rights, property or safety of the creator(s) of Kismet Flame, Kismet Flame or others. This may include exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

• to quickly process your transactions.

• to administer a promotion or other Site feature.

• to improve our services to you.

• to respond to your inquiries related to support, or other requests, and to send promotional
emails to those that request or authorize them.

• to track your purchase history and to contact you for account and promotional purposes.

Communications

I will personally keep our communications confidential, but in general, communications over the Internet are not always secure. Understand that I do not have control over third parties intercepting our communications and electronically transmitted personal information. Other third parties, without either of our consent, may collect your information created through our transactions or communications between you and me.

As I’ve stated before, ALL client communications are held in strict confidence, however, some communications are not protected. If I receive hateful, angry, spiteful, mean communications, ad hominem attacks, threats, or any communications outside of the scope of client sessions that go beyond common civility, then such communications and personally identifiable information will not be protected by confidentiality.

Retention of Information

I will retain information from past readings for the sake of record keeping. Past readings are all logged as saved in client files. I personally use these records to help me improve my practice as a reader and business person. It will never be given voluntarily by me to third parties for benefit or exploitation.

Refund Policy

There are no refunds after purchase unless we cancel on our end due to illness, emergency, or other reasons.
